Shakespeare

well, since this pertains to oral traditions, as well as another of my classes, i figured i would make mention of the fact that myself and several of my Shakespeare classmates are going to be performing a bastardized version of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure. i have to memorize lines!!!! *whining*

anyway, i'll be playing both Lucio and Claudio and i can only thank any deity that i am NOT playing Isabella, Angelo, or the Duke.

so doubtless you'll see me muttering to myself as i am building my memory palace... hoo boy.

another class that has strong oral traditional elements is this semesters World Lit. section. we're studying scandinavian lit which is seeped in orality.

well, i suppose we'll see how this goes.
